rarely pour wine straight into the vinegar container, did with this... this was confected and yuk. may well be a decent wine for the genera that is inexpensive, overripe and over-confected argentinean malbec i suppose, but i'd avoid this

NobleRottersSydney - Malbec (Argentina) (Fix, St James, Sydney): {cork, 14%} [DavidM] Showing only a little evolution so far, this smells dark and malty. Edgy, classically rustic malbec palate, although becomes very much riper and more rounded in the mouth; grenache comes to mind here too. Even palate, medium/full weight, medium dusty tannins and properly-present acidity. Medium length finish. This definitely needs more time but is pretty good.

Not sure on the year. Lighter and herbal.

80 plum skin, 100%. Not worth the effort. If the grippy tannins were velcro, it could hold up a 10 pin bowling ball.

Lot of black fruit and jammy with a hint of oak. On the palate it is spicy and tannic.
One hour after breathing it opened up, the tannin smoothed out.
