Nose: Black pepper spice, inky. Palate: loads of ripe blueberries, burnt embers; polished tannins with good acid to go along with it. On days two and three the ripe blueberries turn more plummy and the wine seems to slip a bit. I definitely preferred in more on the first day, and to me, it's more of a "drink now" fruity French Malbec that nicely straddles a fruit forward style but with a smokey spice that keep the fruit in check.
