Decanted for 90 minutes, this has a brooding nose of cedar, blackcurrant, hawthorn, sliced mushroom and the faintest hint of grated milk chocolate. Palate is a little foursquare, some smoky fruits and some more of that hawthorn.

Opened approximately 30-40 minutes prior to serving, not decanted. Followed in the glass for about an hour and a half.
Pours a very pretty, young garnet. Initial notes show strong barnyard, dried wood, and cassis. Subtle dried herbs work their way in.
Too much brett on the palate for me, it ended up smothering everything else. Took away all the nuance and balance that I expect from a 15 year old Bordeaux. Firm tannins remain, but without any fruit behind it, this seemed hollow and disjointed. Tobacco, earth, barnyard, band-aid all dominated.
Truly disappointing.
