  • Pale yellow with hints of gold, brilliant. On the nose, lemon, stone fruit, melon, white flowers, sea air, a deft touch of oak. An explosion of fruit on the palate, rich and round with bright medium plus acids, excellent weight and balance, low to medium alcohol (13.5%), long finish. Complex and delicious.

  • Wonderfully balanced. Like superb white burgundy. Lovely acidity. Still a bit of lush and rich flavor without any body or weight to burden things. Subtle peach. Anyhow... While not cheap, I think the value here is quite strong.

  • Opened yesterday, finishing the final few ounces this evening. Tasted without food, started chilled and allowed to soften in temp for the note. Brig's note is well done, and of note he brought the wine yesterday so we tasted the same bottle. Some melted butter in the aroma, and some of that same note kinda caresses the palate. Brig mentions tropical and for me the flavors go towards papaya and green banana. There is a spicy note that lingers into the finish, like a ginger and perhaps a fresh cut green apple. I can also taste the pear he mentions, too. Drinking well at this stage, with lots of delineation, framed by some of the light oak that I mentioned.

  • Nice chardonnay. Very representative of Sonoma style. Ripe pear and tropical fruit. Light butter note, full mouth feel. Medium acidity.

  • Crystal clear pale yellow color. Tropical fruit aromas. On the tongue I get pineapple and kiwi with, maybe, some caramel. Bright lemony acid makes this a very refreshing wine. We enjoyed this wine with trout, last night, but I have to say that this wine would have been sensational with shellfish.
