Brambly blackberry nose with damp earth - the fruit dominates with air. Various dark berry fruits with piquant acditiy, unripe blueberry, and herbal components. Drier fruit coats the mouth, then the developed tannins take over, and finally there's a light oak bite. Doing well now but can certainly go another four or five years.

A nose of dark cherries and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied kitchen sink blend, with black cherry, raspberry, herbs, licorice and pepper spiced finish. www.winelx.com

Damp earth nose with plenty of barnyard notes, boysenberry, violets and a hint of cooked bacon. Firm blackberry and brambly black fruit palate with dates, dried apricot, and silty earth. Complex dried herbs, earthy layers, taffy-like tannins, and dry, dark purple and black fruits on the medium-length finish. Improves with some air, indicating decanting helps and perhaps a couple more years will help develop it.
