Green apple, honeydew melon, ripe papaya, green almond, and anise/fennel seed notes make this a classic Arneis. Grapefruit and meyer lemon acidity on the salty finish along with lots of honey. Good minerality too. I like this and I feel like it’s a step up from some other Arneis wines that I have had. This is the single vineyard expression for this producer.

Light color. Green apple, nectarine, and kind of like young German riesling in a way. A bit one dimensional with a hint of salt that burns a little in the back. Last sip was my least fave. Good enough wine, but often i just don't love Arneis.

13.5% ABV. Pours a straw yellow with a green tinge. Reductive matchstick/chlorine on the nose like a burgundy. Blows off after 2-3 mins. Med+ acidity. Initial taste of Lemon oil. Closed off. Poured into a burgundy glass and walked away for a bit. Came back 20 mins later and more lemon tart on the nose, with a hint of cinnamon or something spicy? Creamy mouthfeel with lemon confit and again a bit of spice on the palate. A savory umami note too. Good, but I liked Vietti’s 2021 better. Maybe this one just needs more time.

Single vineyard arneis with notes of lemon zest and white flowers on the nose. Taste is of apple and pear with subtle stone fruit notes. Honey and some salinity. Medium body, medium acid. Very good pairing with high acid foods…ie. chicken with lemon. This single vineyard stands above their other estate offering with more character and nuanced length.

Fabulous wine. High acid with ripe pear and citrus notes. Great mouthfeel. Paired perfectly with the warm evening and a bounty of seafood.
