We received this in our Fall 2013 club member offering - Jessica always likes to share wines from the library with club members, and it is such a nice treat. She told us not to cellar it, and so we obediently popped and poured. And what a lovely wine, drinking at its apex now. The nose is inviting with a hint of smoke atop of lush cherry fruit. Medium bodied, supple and sexy mouth feel. Lingering finish has a slightly burgundian flair with a hint of spice. Delicious! And time to drink!!

More of a CA pinot profile than typical OR. Hot on the nose & first taste. Bright cherry & spice notes. Showed little depth, especially alongsied a hautes cotes de beaune. Second day showed less heat but no more depth.

A reasonable middle-of-the-week sort of wine. Not a ton of fruit like I am used to from several Oregon producers. Certainly, better vineyard examples from Et Fille deliver the goods but this one is lacking although it developed a bit through the evening. Quince, pear, cranberry, mint, and strawberry on the nose are followed by medium Pinot Noir weight with palate notes echoing the nose, reasonably stout tannins and grapefruit acid.

Not my favorite of the Et Fille's, but still holds up well. I think it needs a year or so to mellow a little.
