This parcel always does a good job. A great cross if you're looking for some entry level sour cherry and sous bois in a form that isn't too fresh and outwardly "young" in presentation. This definitely needs an hour or two of decanting to fully show its bouquet. Would be super happy drinking this over the next 5 years. Not really sure if it will last the better part of decade. Pretty good value
Nose: 89-90 Palate: 88-89

By the glass over Burger dinner at 67PM. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Thin legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of green herbs, stalk pyrazine, under-ripe red cherry. Youthful. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, low alcohol (12.5%), medium- tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of watery dilute red cherry juice, under-ripe red berries, green bell pepper, green stems and spice. Medium finish. For fans of stems and stalks. Easy drink. Otherwise fruit quite lacklustre.

Nose of Med Intensity with light red cherry, cranberries, soft red berries, oak and vanilla much present on the nose, dominating day2/3...
Palate is mild soft tannins, velvety and easy on the drinking style, long finish, almost Italian savory. much fruit and oak as well. nice elegant wine. balanced and only 12% abv which in the later years is important

Blind. Grassy with new world characters. Lots of pyrazine, green pepper stalk, gamey. Light, medium ripeness for the vintage, watery. 88
