  • Coonawarra Roadshow (Masonic Hall, Goulburn street): Medium minus intensity aromas of polished oak and fruit, cedar, sweet spice. Juicy, fleshy but a bit flat other than this. Meh

  • The 2019 Surveyor was selected from only 8 barrels that displayed superior fruit intensity and body. 100% new oak will allow this wine to develop into a graceful wine given time.

    Colour deep purple impenetrable black bright red on the rim 15/15
    Nose classic coonawarra choc mint, complex layers of dark cherries, blueberry blackberries cassis, mocha and chocolate. oak spice vanilla cinnamon 28/30
    Palate full bodied intense yet bright and generous in its complexity of flavours, with plums, star anise mint and rich luscious juicy fruit and elegantly structured by the oak and fine tannins , finish lingers in a long silky after taste. 42/44
    Overall super perfectly balanced cabernet deserving of its flagship status 11/11
