  Enjoyed over two days.
  
  What a treat! Had no real expectation for this $16 Haut-Médoc, other than the listed 13 abv.
  
  Assemblage 75/25 Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon, interesting for the Left Bank.
  
  Unsurprisingly, featuring shades of Pomerol, with red fruits and velvety textures enveloping a bold and compact core of blackcurrant and pepper garden. Intriguing terroir, at once revealing clay and gravel. Tight upon opening and throughout the first day. It all came together on the second, delivering a deeply satisfying experience. I should have bought more.
