A negotiant family as it goes. Crisp and light. Easy going, the glassware makes it smell like vanilla. A cuvee blended from the classical area and the larger area. Brut, they produce no extra dry.

This bottle (L22110) is the best Rustico I have had. Otherwise I repeat my notes from last year: With Rustico, Nino Franco has found a sweet spot as a very high quality, entry-level Prosecco, more expensive than many but with real character. It's a wine that can handle food on its own, not just as an apertivo. This showed pear, apple, a floral quality, good acidity but a hint of roundness as well, with a lingering bittersweet finish. Excellent QPR.

Steely dry and serious. Superior stuff. More bottle age would lift the score.
