Dark dark berries. Some pepper, gras and wet wool. Medium bodied with nice acidity and fine balance. Quite meaty. Decent lenght. A bit disappointing for me after waiting several years, but a good it is.

App: deep purple red Aroma: ripe dark fruit, especially black-currant, black pepper and other spices. Full-bodied - with good acidity and moderate tannins. Ripe dark fruit, black pepper and spice on the palate. Good length.

This is drinking great with lots of black fruit, garrigue, beef jerky, french funk, minerality and a nice floral aspect to it. Flavors were similar to the nose with a nice acidic backbone and soft tannins. Nicely balanced with a medium finish. QPR!! This should hold up for a few more years before it starts to head downhill.

Z Willus D says it all. A dark colored, intense, meaty wine. Not some liquid candy. Think lamb, venison, wild boar. Yum.
