  Really captivating nose of a blackberry jam without the jam, dusty minerals and spice notes on the nose, elegantly focused palate with lots of beautiful fruit and spices come through, ripe, yet well integrated tannins, medium acidity and a ping fruit filled finish. Beautifully well made wine

  Very dark purple. Savory nose with herbs, violets, dark cassis, blackberries.
  Red fruited, judicious use of oak, tart cherries, little raspberry, lingonberry, cassis. Nice freshness, nice change from overripe California cabs. Medium+ bodied, complex, structured, primary.
  Finishes long, complex, with very nice tannins.

  Pulled the cork on this sucker early as I was lucky enough to get 4 bottles of this allocated, and Ketan the man himself noted this vintage is particularly approachable now/young…. So what the Heck
  This bottle is popping with fresh blueberries and herbs right away, you can smell the sweetness from the bottle itself. The color is a deep and dark red with a hair of magenta, but not much , looking young and sexy and proper. On the palate a long and juicy high acid structure, the tannins are real silky within the lingering finish. Definitely that Beta trademark taste and style with a lighter touch on the palate , but it’s hella refreshing. Not structure or length sacrificed. Amazing stuff.
