Dark blackish red color with just a little brick coloring at the edge. Heady intense nose and a big chewy taste in this full bodied effort, which started with some acidity but smoothed out over an hour or two of drinking for a honest cabernet taste that can be appreciated on a number of levels although not a very complex offering. Some dry tannins still on the palate.

Had as the first red at a cabernet tasting with the wine maker. Drying out fruit, drink now!
