  • The first Under the Wire wines i have tried since the initial offering where I thought they were severely lacking in elegance.

Certainly more precision. Brioche and yeasty on the entry before broad cherry fruited, could only be a blanc de noir, mid palate, firm, needs time, nice persistence, still a bit boxy as they are probably pressing a little harder for more extract but here this is much more dialed in, but hey this is Cali sparkling from a Zin producer for all intensive purposes

  • Lemon and soft brioche. Feels like a holiday party. Fine bubbles. Green apple peel. Long lemon and toasty finish.

  • On the nose- Big bright fruit, fresh citrus, fresh yellow apple, fresh baked bread, fresh toasted almond, fresh brioche, fresh cream, wild flowers.

On the palate- Big bright fruit and fresh citrus, fresh yellow apple and fresh baked bread, fresh toasted almond and fresh brioche and fresh cream with a hint of wild flowers on the finish. This wine is drinking KILLER now but has great acidity and freshness and will last another 10+ years if not longer with no problem at all.
