Still loving this. The real character of the bouquet comes out as it warms from a chill, and it is wonderful and complex. The mouthfeel has substantial weight and structure that leads me to think this has some bones for aging. A hidden gem, imho. 5+11+17+9= 92

Pleasant bouquet of fresh cut pear and melon with some minerality. New to the Thermenregion and Rotgipfler but this reminds of a tank aged pinot gris/blanc from the Williamette valley. A gram or two of residual sugar but this wine is balanced and well made. Under screw cap and can likely last a few years but no reason to wait.

Light straw color, clear and bright. My sinuses are a little off right now, but on the palate I get nice kiwi, honeydew, citrus pith, guava, all with a pleasant undertone of minerals and bright acidity. My first time with this grape and every comparison I want to make doesn't get more than halfway there, always requiring a combination of two or more varieties to assemble the whole picture. I could say Pinot Gris/Albarino, or Chardonnay/Semillon, or Macabeo/Chenin Blanc, or Marsanne/Gewürztraminer, but nothing perfectly describes this.fun.wine.

Not sure if part of the appeal is its difference from any White I’ve tadted to now
Fresh and crisp, silky citrus and a touch of chalk
Delicious
