Mild black liquorice or star anise, earthy spice like oregano not so much parsley or cinnamon/nutmeg. Medium body and relaxed tannins. Usual raspberry and cherry fruit. Easy Drinking.

Really solid- feels very "classic", not at all the new style of light, chuggable juice (which can be amazing), but instead substantiative, serious, ripe pinot with all the fixings. Loads of black cherry, earthy soil tones, baking spices, a touch of leather, a very rounded, soft delivery but still very elegant and balanced with solid acidity. I found the fruit itself a little buried beneath the dark earthy/spiced notes, but still, very classical without being overly austere.
