Wines of the Camino de Santiago; 9/13/2022-10/19/2022 (Northern Spain): The nose is lovely and balanced with sour dark red cherries, raspberries, cranberries, dusty notes, plums, leather, crushed rocks, vanilla, and some violets. This does lack a little bit of depth on the nose as the tones seem to lie more on the surface. The Medium bodied feel Carrie’s through the balance of the nose with tart, medium+ acidity and chunky, medium tannins. This is a nice Crianza that is balanced and straightforward. It doesn’t launch into any fireworks, but it just does everything it aims to do.
