This was a pop n pour, sort of by accident, but the wine shows really well right from the start. Delicious blackberry fruits & baking spices on the palate, lovely tingling acidity in the nose, and a lingering, long finish that invites another sip.

Really liked this. Plenty of new world character with red and black fruit, but retained lovely acidity and tannic structure. Paired with grilled pork chops, asparagus, and portobello mushrooms.
Drink now with a 1h decant or hold for a few years. Will certainly develop and improve over time, but a starred cellar defender at the DN price.

Deep ruby/purple, stains your teeth type of cab. Unabashedly new world with tons of red and black fruit and new oak notes. Drank over three days and kept getting better, lots of aging potential here and a great value

Fuller body, soft tannins, driven by a unique mineral acidity for this Maipo region cabernet, which sits at the base of the Andes mountains which provides a Mediterranean-like climate. Black pepper, black fruit, hints of blackberry, and a touch of fig with graphite that helps round out red fruit and pyrazine on the finish. The cabernet lends an interplay of intensity and balance. A great push-pull to watch as the wine decants over hours. Really nice structured minerality which should lead to some aging potential.
Excellent cabernet.
