Inky Purple, Garnet Rim, Long Legs, mild cassis, earthy aroma, has aged well for an inexpensive wine and is a solid 90 for a minute. But, alas, it fades quickly and turns to oxidized blackberries so enjoy with a crowd and drink quickly!

RUSSK A few days after openning and vinvacking this wine took on a lot of interesting complexity: phenolic grape; cedar; vanilla. I enjoyed it more this time. I should have decanted. Would buy more at $10 -$15.

A wine very true to it's Sonoma Cty roots. Enjoyed earlier this evening with Kim at a tapas and paired wines wine tasting dinner at Arpa restaurant in downtown Charlotte NC paired with a delicious thick saffron / potato / bacon soup and this wine paired very well. Very nice, soft and complex as is more typical of Sonoma then Napa, good mouth feel and surprisingly spicy. Nose of bramble, blueberry and vanilla with flavors of blueberry, earth and black pepper developing on palate. Definitely recommend this wine.

Unbalanced with high alcohol and bitter, over oaked tannins. Fruit could barely make it through.
