Okay, I heard good and bad on this wine and I thought it was was verging on if not outstanding. It tasted more like a cab than a Shiraz, strangely enough, but it was dry, had good earthiness, nice on the palate and a decent enough finish. I was impressed, although I found it hard to think this was Shiraz. I did not find itr over oaked and one dimensional. It was quite the opposite.

A lot of oak on the nose, only the strongest fruit aromas will come through (just come through). On the mouth hits vanilla spice right away with some dark berries, raspberry showing up in the middle and then fading back to vanilla pepper spice. Tannins a little weak and overall balance is off. Not a "full throttle" Shiraz by any means. Like the woman at the bar who lets you buy her drinks, this wine is a tease; it seems to promise something really good but in the end doesn't quite deliver, thus leaves you wanting.

Agree with the prior review. Lots of oak, dark in colora and light hints of rasberry. Strong finish of vanilla. Recommended at Binny's but I would not buy again.

(Tapestry Shiraz) #4; VaynerPAZZZZZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-Enormous amounts of Oak; hint of Raspberry jam; TASTE-Ginormous level of Vanilla; of back-end black cherry; little black raspberry component; hint of black pepper; but his is ALL Oak, Vanilla & Cream all day long; fake delicious; one dimensional bomb of Oak & fruit; many will like, but not my style, well made; w/ nice back-end structure; but very hot; WE-91; GV-77

Still terrific. Deep red, almost purple, still strong dark fruit flavors. Very smooth, lovely finish.

Fruity but not overwhelming, opened up and became more complex with some air. I would buy this again.
