Colour: light gold, bright, clear. Nose: full, rounded and mature, purer than the Pierrets 2018, stone fruit notes, Taste: med body, rounded, v ripe, intense stone fruit so not v Germanic varietal, good acidity, long finish, off dry, nectarines. Overall, this is much more elegant than the 2018 Pierrets, yet it is instark contrast to the excellent dry German Rieslings.

Quiet for the first say 40 mins - i.e., stone fruit, waxiness, more tropical fruit a bit like pinot gris, good acidity; but not very expressive. after 40 mins, more expressive: got more acacia, peaches; bit more balanced, not overly sweet -- high alcohol @ 13.5% but didn't feel that way. nice acidity, lingering finish (got more pineapples at the end). average at first, but ended up strongly at the end! would suggest 1 hour letting it breathe from the bottle if you can resist the urge to drink! we only got there after finishing 60% of the bottle!
