A lot of berries and cherry on the nose and palate. Surprisingly acidic and tannic. Extremely long finish and chalky mouthfeel. Well structured. The first day it was above average, but it faded fast. By day 3, it was average. Overall, it was enjoyable but probably not worth the $30+ price point. If it was $15-$20 I would buy it again.

The nose is chalk full of rose petal, red berry and watermelon rind at first opening. This bottle has been cellared for 4 years at 61 degrees F. Open for over an hour now, the intense aroma has diminished into more of a natural earth floor bouquet with a hint of black currant and the watermelon rind still lingers. Med plus acid, with a med tannins. Nice finish overall, not super long but enjoyable. Probably a year after its prime.

Drinking well...paired excellently with New York Strip. However, when done eating, 60-75 mins after opening, seemed like it turned into a fruit bomb.

Still drinking great...red berry and tannin. Full mouth feel with lasting tannins. Prime Rib would have been a good pairing.
