  More than a year later the note by vvWine.ch is still spot on, though I rate it a bit lower. Very good QPR (mine costed around € 12,50).

  (91-93 vvPunkte) (52% Sémillon, 48% Sauvignon Blanc, dieser wurde 24 Stunden auf der Maische gelassen, 1/3 Barrique, 2/3 Stahltank, 13.5% Alkohol) Leuchtendes Goldgelb. Die Nase zeigt Blütenhonig, exotische Früchte, Tee, weisse Blüten, mit mehr Luft auch deutlich Zitrusfrucht, sehr schön. Im Gaumen kräftig, zeigt Schmelz, eine gute Struktur stützt die reife Frucht, der Wein hat Frische und einen salzigen Abgang. Das ist schon grosses Kino für einen Zweitwein. (Verkostet "En Primeur" im April 2022. Château Pichon Baron)
