  • I’ve had over a case of this wine now. It is a rock star that, for reasons unknown, isn’t more well known. It gets better the longer opened and is even better on day 2. Why this is only ~$26/retail I don’t know. What I do know is buy all you can find as one day this won’t be so inexpensive. Currently, it is one of the top QPR (quality to price ratio) coming out of Portugal. 93/100

  • Pale lemon color with very appealing lemon curd, tropical fruit, stone fruit, honeysuckle and spice aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied with vibrant mouthwatering acidity and ripe white peach, apricot, passion fruit, pineapple, lemon zest, Key lime, honey, spice and white tea flavors with a very satisfying finish. 14.5% abv|SRP - $26. Terrific quality for the price!

Blend of 75% Arinto/25% Verdelho. 60% of the blend was raised in 500 liter oak barrels in contact with lees. The final blend was aged seven months in a combination of new French and European oak(50%), in second and third year wood (40%) and stainless steel (10%)

  • This wine punches way above its price. Has the full acidity of the Alentejo grapes, that give this region its character, and has the balance of cold nights and warm days - the tanninic sweetness at the end, combined with what must be a traditional burgundy method of ageing white wines, results in an incredibly well balanced wine that is easy to enjoy on its own, or with some cured meats from tehr region and soft cheese. A real steal, but no surprise given the experience that the producers have in the Douro Valley.

  • Creamy nose, herbs and apples,
Really pronounced acidity, I thought this was Burgundy initially, creamy, leesy, citrus fruit but then there's a herbal/ spicy character that's quite unusual. Amazing freshness for this part of Portugal. Really gorgeous wine.

  • Deep yellow color. The nose is packed with goodness. I get richer tones of honey, almond and baked bread, pineapples, with brighter and fresher notes of lemon, sea salt, and white flowers. The palate shows a creamy texture, supporter by lively acidity, and the lemon, papaya and pineapple fruit is ripe but tangy. The notes of chalk, honey, hay, nougat, crushed oyster shells and white flowers add a lot to love and contemplate. This is versatile, delicious and beautiful, and I think it should age nicely for a while as well. Arinto with 25% Verdelho, and 60% of the wine was fermented in oak on the lees.
