  • Opened at Caprice Bar in Hong Kong. Decanted.

Upon opening, I realised that I should have asked the staff to slow-ox it beforehand, as this was quite a powerful wine. As such, I asked them to decant it and I was grateful for this as it really needed some air.

After about 1.5 hours, this was really starting to hit its stride and to showcase the lightness of the Chambolle terroir. Very solid and would drink again, but I know that this is a rare wine to find.

If you have any bottles, I would recommend keeping it for at least 5 years+ as it will definitely improve with age and loosen up.
