  Wow! My last bottle and wish I had a lot more of this. Still holding up well, no sign of going downhill, but drinking beautifully. An enchanting, complex, classic Burgundy nose with good fruit, and lots of deep, earthy, secondary and tertiary notes. On the palate, it's a mouthful bringing lush red fruits supported by nicely balanced acidity. Fine grained tannins and a long luscious finish round out this great bottle. It's with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to the last of this one. Savoring the final mouthfuls right now ...

  Opened this for a special occasion and glad I did! This keeps getting better. Nose of earth and cherries that hits you right away when you open the bottle. With time in the glass, it begins to gain complexity and depth, showing additional notes of meat, mushrooms, and a bit of barnyard. Plenty of fruit on the palate with nicely balanced acidity. Had it with herbed salmon and it was sublime. Fine grained tannins and a long finish round out this excellent wine. This is drinking wonderfully now, but itt should still be on top for a few more years. If you have some of this, now is the time!

  Wow! This stuff has come alive. Lots of depth and complexity on the nose, and loads of lush fruit in the mouth. A long lingering finish tops off this excellent wine. It's is excellent now, but I think it will still improve over the next 5 years or so.

  This one's a bit underperforming given its heritage. A nice wine, but just less of everything than I'd expect out of an '03 Grand Cru.
