Struck match reduction. Toasty oak. Scents of honeysuckle and almond. Fruit starts with crunchy white peach, and turn more Asian pear in slightly grippy texture (tannin?) and floral fragrance. Slightly green fennel-like undertone. Clear lemon layers of acidity. Lemony finish.
Medium body. Medium plus acidity. Salinity. Light texture.
A bit lighter bodied in this vintage. The reduction is back in play. Precisely delivered with some wound-up nervous energy.

Good acid. White stone fruit, lemon, clean minerality. A bit flabby compared to his other bottlings.

Solid bourgogne blanc. Good acidic zip, and light palate feel. Would like a bit more roundness, but nothing to complain about here.

This is just a baby at this stage. Would benefit from another couple years in the bottle. But still thoroughly enjoyable and lots of promise.

Classic PYCM style but true to vintage. Yes 2020 is better but this is a brilliant effort. Cool and classic burgundy.
