  • 100% Chardonnay
    from 3.60 ha divided into six plots over the entire hillside
    of Côte de Léchet with clayey limestone Kimmeridge soil.
    Mechanical harvest. Pressed. 18-24 hrs settling.
    Fermented at 19°C–20°C with Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeasts.
    Malolactic. Aged ~6 months on fine lees.
    Fined and filtered.
    13% Abv.

    Background: Family estate of 20ha in the 4th generation.
    Proprietor: Jean-Luc Fourrey since 1992 assisted by sister Marie-José

    A(ccuray)=2: Lemon/yellow green tint. Concentrated, mineral varietal.
    B(alance)=3: Modulated components in harmony.
    C(omplexity)=2: Citrus, apple, almond, saline minerality.
    D(epth)=1: Lifted mouthfeel. Good length and finish.
