13.5% abv. Recent auction purchase. Tried this along with the 2020 TBH Vineyard. Was interested to try this because of the "fire vintage" to see if any smoke taint was at play here. I did not detect any smoke or ashtray notes -- seemed clean (same with the TBH, thankfully). In any case, this was a lovely expression of RRV Pinot, delicate and detailed, yet very flavorful and focused. Seemed to gain complexity as it got more air and was really singing by the last glass (about an hour after opening). Seems integrated and seamless for a Pinot this young, but I don't see any reason for this not to age and improve for many years. Really fine RRV Pinot.

Super small producer in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. Dedicated to small, applying exacting viticulture to enhance complexity and concentration and the wines reflect it. Vines, shoots and buds all kept in strict control.
Med nose of strawberry, raspberry, currant, vanilla. Palate has the distinctive taste of RRV. Med+ acidity and med flavor intensity that will only improve with time. I will hold off next bottle for 1+ years as this bottle remains tight.
