  • Tension & precision f the get-go here in the luminous & excellently consistent Telmo Rodriquez cuvée El Velado (v19, 14% ABV, bottle 322/1,520) - a baby at the moment w potential for a higher score. Deep ruby-red, translucent, somewhat darkish core, in appearance. Fragrant & expressive in the nose, lovely deep scents, spice, orange zest, cassis, cherries, graphite, blueberries, dried herbs. Focused w clarify w tannins that fill the mouth w a truly chalky grip underpinned by vivid acidity, compact, bone-dry close!
