Decanted for 2 hours. Cherry & Raspberry on the nose but subtle. Heavy palate. Cherry, raspberry, a bit of oak, vanilla and some balsamic. Excellent. Long finish. 30 sec +. This competes well with much more expensive wines. Definitely will get more from a more recent vintage.

At $15, this is a phenomenal QPR; at $20, it's respectable though just shy of a no-brainer. I first discovered the '06 vintage of this wine by chance and with few expectations, was quite impressed. Unable to find the '06, I picked up this '05 and am similarly impressed, though just ever-so slightly less. Definitely a Napa-typical aromatic, fruit-forward, inky crimson-purple, pretty well-structured offering and thus, a crowd-pleaser (I know, what's with all the hyphenated words?) The only weird thing was a funky out-of-balance acidity that was slightly off-putting...though it only showed itself for about 20mins. (from 45-65mins after decant + vinturi); ironic in that the wine has ample fruit and a nice medium-long finish, yet aside from that 20mins., the acidity was a tad lacking. All-in-all a respectable quaffer and well worth a try!

Last bottle of a case. An all around very good cab for the price.

surprinsingly heavy glass! nice cab, smooth, fruity, food friendly and good by itself. Some left over the next day was just fine.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Very dark color. Dark fruit taste with a nice long finish. I really enjoyed this wine.
