  • 13,5% alcohol.

Strikingly youthful lemony yellow-green appearance. Open and quite powerful nose with complex, somewhat sweet-toned and rather brooding aromas of ripe citrus fruits, some nuttiness, a little bit of chalk dust, light savory wood notes of oak, sweeter fruity hints of white peach and juicy red apples and a touch of panna cotta. Very attractive and showing surprisingly little age. The wine is fresh, full-bodied and quite concentrated on the palate with bold, clean flavors of steely minerality, tart green apples, some stony mineral tones, a little bit of creamy oak, light lemony notes, developed hints of nuttiness and honeyed richness and a touch of vanilla. The acidity feels high, keeping the full body and concentrated fruit well in check and lending great sense of focus and structure to the wine. The complex finish is very long with dry, concentrated flavors of tart lemony citrus fruits and green apples, some stony minerality, a little bit of creamy oak, light steely notes, developed hints of chopped nuts and browned butter and a touch of vanilla.

An outstanding, bold and concentrated Grand Cru Burgundy that really does not show much signs of age, apart from the sense of richness and concentration brought by age. The wine is relatively big and opulent, but it is definitely not lacking in focus, structure or elegance. Very impressive right now, but shows lots of potential for future development. Wines like these really show why Grand Cru Burgundy is so highly appreciated style of wine. Exceptional value at 60€.

  • Golden straw color, peach and lanolin aroma with some honeysuckle and light citrius and grapefruit. Spritz is noticible. Nice soft and oily mouth with subdued flavors that nicely flow to a lingering finish.
