  Pnp, no color on cork but dark garnet ring around deep purple center wine on pour, clear edges in the glass Brickish on the dump. Deep low nose, dark Berry- leather and cedar- some funk. High notes of cherry. Tastes black cherry, acidity is calm, tannins are softly presented. Almost ink and tar and lingers with some metallic (copper?) / Black licorice/ eucalyptus on finish. Smooth overall and relatable to parts of Shiraz, Cabernet, and petite sirah or tannat maybe. New grape to me and probably you too, try it . 8 years old on tasting and clear edges in glass around the dark garnet ring lets me confidently say another year+ of drinking or more. My score copies Wine Enthusiast, because what do I know about this grape? It's a fine wine, apparently about 25 bucks. I don't know if I'd buy a lot of these bottles but I'm not mad that I did. I hope to revisit after a decant. Re- read WE review and I get the plum, but dried plum.
