  • Nice wine. Medium straw color. Dry and acidic. Medium plus body. Scent of lemon. Tasted citrus, green apple and some saline. Good finish.

  • A solid 1er cru to enjoy as an aperitif when it's hot outside.

The wine is pale yellow, very light in color.

medium intensity (medium+?). Pretty nice light flavors in the nose, starting from white flowers, and developing into fruity notes, green and gala apple, cox pears, hints of white peach, ending with citrus notes, particularly grapefruit. Very nicely combined and evolving. Underneath, wet stone and flinty notes.

The wine has high acidity, medium alcol, and medium body. The acidity is the dominant element in the beginning, then the wine opens up for the mid-palate delivering a wider structure. Finally, in the aftertaste, we can find the wet stones component, a sensation of salinity, and lemon zest.

This is a wonderful product in the < 30£ section, great freshness and yet able to deliver complexity in the mouth. A very easy buy for summer, can start 2-3 years in cellar but do not ask for this wine to evolve much. Open it up and enjoy it

  • Fine but still not my thing. Yet to "get" Chablis. Alice is generally a fan but she found this missing stoniness and minerality.

  • Delicate and mineral. Quite tight at the moment so may improve with more time in bottle. Good palate intensity and complexity with lovely, bright acidity on the palate.

    WSET Notes:

    Pale lemon.

Medium (+) intensity on the nose with apple, pear, lemon, white blossom, biscuit, chalk and wet stone. Youthful.

Pronounced and dry on the palate. Medium (-) body, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium (+) finish.

Can drink now but has potential for ageing.
