  Very dark color.
  
  Front palate: pepper and tobacco
  
  Mid palate: vanilla, cherry, and some other various dark fruit
  
  Finish: leather, more defined plum, raspberry
  
  Dry. Nice body. Tannins were well balanced
  
  I like this! Drank on its own and wasn’t overpowering or too big. Could stand up to a big, fatty meal despite not being a big as a typical cab.

  Experimenting with tasting assistant: The wine looks purple colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, strawberry, black currant (cassis), oak and vanilla. It tastes like black currant (cassis), red currant, strawberry jam, plum, oak, butterscotch and alcohol/hot. The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

  Splendid. Drank over three hours and it blossomed right to the end. Heavy tannins on the nose evolves into strawberry, leather, huckleberry, and a barely noticeable but amazing aromatic note of something like Jamaican Allspice on the finish.
