Has the line and citrus of the variety, with a little more vintage derived sappy fruit. Nice texture and volume. A touch of spice and good cut. Moderate length.

Aligotasting (Utregs Wijnhuis): [Tasted blind] This stood next to the Coche Dury Aligote, and this was clearly better. A bit more color than the previous flight (medium yellow) and almost medium+ in intensity on the nose. More concentration with fire stone, pear, peach, melon, some oak? Medium+ acidity, long and evolving finish. Richer, more expressive, more complex. One of my favorites this tasting. 92-93
Part of 10 Aligote’s tasted blind with Anne Boisson, Comte Armand, Pierre Boisson, Coche Dury, Fabien Coche, Nicolas Faure, Charles Lachaux, Cassiopee, Ramonet and Leroy

Loads of petroleum reduction to begin with. Breathes up to show ripe orchard fruit notes. It is dense, sappy and linear. With air some glycerol and mid-palate flesh becomes evident but it is quite tight and unyielding for now.

You can really see the Boisson signature acidity right here. Very well balanced with some richness. Toast, flint, apples, lemon curd, pear.
