Garnet color. Nose: black cherry jam, plum, spicecake, chocolate, and a little green wood in the background. Palate: plum pie and dried cherry, cinnamon, clove, and chocolate. Nice silky texture. Fine tannins. Good focus. Moderate length. Some blueberry skin on the finish. Slightly hot. Good wine. Good value.

Popped and poured. Purple with garnet rim. Nose of plum, black cherry, spice and vanilla. Medium-bodied palate of dark fruit, fresh acidity and mild tannins. Elegant and classy wine with subtlety and complexity. Saint Emilion meets new world clean.

A very luminous red in color, quite shiny. Fresh flavors with depth and concentration, especially for a Merlot. Some tannin that may soften with time on the mid-palate, but the delicious fruit flavors really show on the finish. Some wood is showing now on the finish, but hopefully that will integrate with time.

Deep black cherry taste. Soft tannins. Medium to long finish. Good to sip and great with food

Rich, but balanced, with bright fruit, notable fruitcake flavors, and a nice plummy base; classic Merlot that still has plenty of life left in it
