Smells of lemon zest, limes and green apples with gravel/stones, much the same on the palate with a chalky character replacing the stoneyness. Definitely has the Watervale stamp. Very tart, bone dry. Med intensity and med finish helped along by that chalky texture on your cheeks and tongue. It's pleasant and crisp, but it doesn't pop.

Lovely lime/citrus. Not overdone. Lovely mouthfeel (time on lees?) Long finish. Had a bottle prior to Indian Restaurant. Don't think much would stand up to a vindaloo... For $22 a bottle it's a bargain. Potential to cellar for sure.

Smells very much like an Aussie Riesling. Dry and starchy in a very good way. Maximum starchiness.

22nd Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra): A little creamy lees, green apple, sulphur, lime and lemon. Medium plus intensity acidity, that green apple here as well, long with slight mid palate rasp. Hmm to okay.
