Pale gold medium body (12.5%) wine. Floral nose followed by apple and melon fruit with a hint of vanilla. Ended with a very long finish. What a pleasure to drink!

Solvang Bros and Hos (Solvang, CA): The nose has a very attractive, spearmint smell combined with cut hay. It’s slick on the mouth, spicy apple and medium acidity. Light vanilla adds to the body. This is very very good, in the class with Arcadian or Rhys.

Totally delicious, a bit Burgundian too if I dare say so, especially with the low ABV and present minerality. Shy at this early stage but so alluring, with gentle flint, candied almond, lemon bars, white flowers, all sorts of stony minerals. Not so far from a Meursault I enjoyed recently, only with somewhat less vibrant fruit. Very, very faint touches of vanilla. Excellent integrated acidity and a long finish. It'll evolve really nicely and it was really solid value. Need to drink more SRH chard.

At colder temperatures, it has high acid and lemon notes and smells.
As it warmed up, it became creamy with butterscotch and brioche. Full mouthfeel and a long finish.
This is a really nice Chardonnay.
