  • I did drink better reserve Riojas in general & definitely more accessible.

    Only now, 5 hours in a decanter, the tanines start to be less dominant & enable tasting it seriously.

    Nice dark bright red color, not clear.

    Medium body. Medium plus acidity. Rough tanines. Not smooth at all.

    Mildly to vaguely aromatic, barrels first then fruits and spices.

    On the palate, unpleasant tanines, then oak, coffee, plum, blueberries, raspberries, pomegranate, pepper.

    Might need more ageing, but not sure it worth the space 😞
