bright ruby colour and medium body. blue and black berries accented with some spices and tarry notes. fruit-forward and juicy in the mouth with a smooth texture. good acidity, moderate depth and structure and good length.
drinking well now and likely for a handful more years.

Just a baby right now showing lots of potential, but also a load of tannin and green-stem on the finish. Tasted over 3hrs on Friends-giving and still not softening on the finish. Saved 1/3 bottle and tasted over the next 2-weeks. By end of week 1 it was just losing the green tannic edge, by week 2 it was quite balanced.
I would forget these for at least 4-8 yrs unless you want a very long-decant or to taste over multiple days-weeks to see how it evolves.

A bit simple right now, but I have hopes of these bottles showing similar to the '18s of a year ago. If they do, then I'll be a happy camper. Right now, disappointing, but the jury is still very much out.
