Migan Chingao Vertical (Detroit): If I were hyper-alert to sulfur stink then I might tease it from this pour, especially at first. But that would be a distraction from this glorious, breezy animal of naive botanical richness. Wandering, sunlight foraged delights: wildberries, mushroom jams, inky plum, raspberry coulis. Coffeepot. Remarkably mineral, determined tannins grip the middle and govern the insurgent, thickly juicy finish. Open, panoramic transparency. Savory earth bass notes support the finish. Big, scenic aromatic front: harvest berries and greens. Everything is mutually emergent and strangely liberated in spite of the rather severe structure. Acidity is persistent and supportive.

Strawberry and sulfur in the nose, the sulfur goes away after a while displaying a pretty aroma in the glass of ripe red berries, light to medium bodied, crisp red cherry, stony mineral and black tea flavors, this will be sour to some but there is beautiful purity to the tart flavors and it is pretty easy to drink, I find this style of wine to be refreshing
