  • This did not age anything like the Peay bottlings, nevertheless was delicious on the first day and tasted old on the second day--Drink up!

  • 13.2% alcohol...from Peay, this is declassified fruit...

The nose on this wine is fresh, fairly exuberant, blueberries, some earth, cool climate, a touch of dirt...the palate is flat out delicious, if you like voluptuous blueberries, even the tinge of green you get from the blueberry towards the stem, yum, loads of fruit, not primary fruit or grapey, but clearly defined fruit, can't be anything but blueberries, really long, you taste this wine 30+ seconds after all is gone...interesting wine. Not the complexity Peay normally offers, but at less than $25 this is quite the QPR.
