Popped the first one of these and was interested to see Wren Hop's take on Sta Rita Hills fruit. Nice initial approach and aroma. From the first sips it had an interesting flavor on the finish - different, not bad. With a bit of time in the glass this fleshed out and presented an incredible mouthfeel and texture. Polished dark fruit with nice balance and integration. Kept getting better as we worked through the bottle. Big but not over extracted. Purplish red in color, deep and dark.
