Well, combine the last 3-4 notes together into one package, and this would be my experience also. Overpriced for 30$+ CAN. Have liked other vintages, but again - pricey. Nice complexity, easy drinking. Would continue to search out the latest vintages, but cellaring for 2-4 yrs before sampling. Not an easy task.

on the tart side even after 2 hr decant thought it would be more mellow after7 yrs, did not match press, not much improvement from last bottle 3 yrs ago

dark brick red with caramel orange hues. cherries, tobacco and plums. very smooth tannins (almost gone), delicate yet still good fruit concentration. warm spicy finish. about as far aged it gets, it will decline from here. Very good
