Very interesting. Some bright fruit, a little yeasty funk on the nose, and a sour candy tartness. Less viscous and jammy than some Aussie or French syrah that I've tried.
As a Santa Clara County native I was intrigued by the label. Not sure if that's the same thing as Santa Clara Valley AVA, or what the conditions are for labeling wine that way.
$13 at Groce Out though, so worth a gamble.
