I probably should have let this bottle decant for a while it was too tannic for instant enjoyment. It had nice fruit flavors, wonderful wine...just let decant for several hours.

a beautiful wine. I give it less than 95 because it is almost too New World style, not quite as characteristic of the Chinon as it could be. But very enjoyable.

Vibrant acidity and mineral/earth backbone complementing stone fruits with cherry dominating. Went great with swordfish & Sicilian tapenade.

Fruity, but not terribly pleasant either just to sip or with Chinese. Worked okay with a Caesar salad, though.
