Nose: Cherry, cedar, tobacco, fennel. Palate: Tart cherry, barnyardy funk, leather, sweet pipe tobacco. Grippy tannin, high acid, medium+ body. Some RS, but not overboard. The acidity feels out of balance with the rest of the components, but you can't beat the price at $5.99 for a table wine. Probably my favorite TJ buy.

Fine at opening but quickly loses its structure. Would make an average house wine at a low end bar.

Well made red wine, lacks complexity, wrong grapes.
