This pours very light and clear. Red cherries, hibiscus, chamomile tea, cotton candy and fresh thyme on the nose. Flavors consistent with the aromas with a hint of bitterness toward the end of the palate. Opened up considerably after an hour.
This is very "carbonic". In fact, it could really be any carbonic wine. It is fruit backward as is typical for Mourvèdre, however. Add a couple of points for that hint of typicity. It's too bad this costs $36 because for $15 I would really like it. Drink now and serve chilled!
